The Role
In the position of HPC Service Delivery Manager, your responsibilities include aiding our customers in their usage of HPC as a Service (HPCaaS), have close communication with our customers and CAE end-users, gain deep understanding how they want to use HPC in their workflows for multiple disciplines (FEM, CFD, EM, FSI, Optimization, GPU usage, new combined AI-CAE...).
This involves regular customer meetings, short-term project management, follow-up requests, to ensure that we deliver agreed capacity and application integrations in a timely manner.
A crucial aspect of your role is to be in close communication with the simulation department users and managers, understand their project cycles, application and capacity requests. Your role is pivotal, playing a critical part in supporting our HPC customers and facilitating HPC for numerical CAE simulations for our users.
Your primary responsibilities within the team involve:
- Main contact person for a set of customers regarding the HPC delivery and usage
- Understand customers usage of the service, how their workflows work and how to tailor the HPC service to specific customer needs
- Work closely with both our Support, as well as the Operations and Development internal atnorth HPC teams to ensure SLA fulfillment.
- Identify how customers usage and interaction with the service may be improved
- Establishing close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (as independent software vendors) to guarantee timely deliveries.
- Given proper priorities between multiple customers and users requirements.
- Contributing to the ongoing development efforts to ensure customer success.
The position entails extensive communication and collaboration. As an HPC Service Delivery Manager, you work closely with our team, and are in close communication with our HPCaaS userbase. In larger projects you will also work across teams, so being able to work in larger groups is a requirement.
In this role, your reporting line is to the Chief HPC Officer, located in Göteborg, Sweden. We offer hybrid work arrangements but envision this role to be close to any of our offices.
Is this you?
To excel in this role, it is essential to possess extensive communication and documentation skills. We believe you have a background within CAE or HPC with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Fluency in spoken and written English is a prerequisite. Additional languages such as French, German, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese or Spanish would be beneficial for the role due to our customers origin.
We believe you possess a well-rounded skill set that includes proficiency in the following toolkits:
- Experience of CAE applications and workloads
- Previous experience with Linux environments
- Project management skills
- Excellent documentation skills.
