The Role
As IT Director you will be a vital member of the leadership team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic IT plans that support the organization's technology, security, data, and compliance objectives. With atNorth´s certification in ISO 27001 we are looking for someone who can uphold the standard, set the foundation for an IT-first focus environment, and strategize ways to scale our IT and cybersecurity posture while delivering cutting-edge innovative solutions.

Tasks:
- Managing and overseeing the entire IT infrastructure, IT operations, and cyber security frameworks.
- Developing and implementing short- and long-term IT strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Establishing and enforcing IT and cyber security policies, systems, personnel and projects to support the strategic IT and security objectives.
- Managing and controlling the IT budget, ensuring that spending is in line with the organization's priorities and objectives, including investments in cybersecurity tools and training.
- Providing leadership, direction, and guidance to the IT team to ensure successful delivery of IT projects and services.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as senior executives, business unit leaders, including Data Center Operations and Project Delivery, as well as external partners to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
- Leading and managing large-scale IT and cyber security projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and security standards.
- Ensuring that the organization's IT systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations, such as SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, PCI, DSS, and GDPR.
- Managing the IT supply chain and all IT vendor relationships including negotiating contracts for hardware, software, and services.
- Ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of the organization's IT systems and data.
- Providing strategic guidance on the use of emerging technologies.
As an IT Director you will be part of the management team and report to the COO. The position can be located in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Iceland or Helsinki and will involve travel within the Nordic region.
Is this you?
To be successful in this role, we believe you have proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as an IT Director or equivalent. You have extensive knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software and emerging technologies. You also have experience leading large-scale IT projects, managing budgets, and overseeing teams.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Additional certifications such as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and/or Microsoft Azure are preferred as well as regulatory experience in Data center or other critical facilities.
Experience with regulatory compliance and standards, including ISO 27001.
