Low Voltage Electrician in Akureyri
atNorth is expanding in Akureyri, Iceland and looking for professionals to work in our pioneering data center. atNorth is the leading operator of data center infrastructure in the Nordics and the decarbonization partner of choice. We are now looking to assemble a team for this exciting expansion project.
atNorth is seeking low voltage electricians to join the team in Akureyri. This is a permanent, full-time position suitable for all genders.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
You will install low voltage equipment and wiring for AI clusters and powerful GPU networks with air and water cooling in our data centers in Akureyri. Reliable electrical systems are essential to the operation of our data centers, making efficient and safe installation, maintenance, and operation a top priority.
Low voltage electricians at atNorth will be responsible for:
- Installing electrical systems for next-generation computing
- Monitoring and maintaining electrical systems
- Ensuring safety and promoting best work practices
- Providing service and communicating with clients
- Other tasks in consultation with management and colleagues
- Education and Qualifications
To be considered, you must have knowledge and experience in low-voltage systems. We value good team members who are eager to learn and grow in the world of data centers and artificial intelligence.
Electrician training
- Proficiency and expertise in low voltage
- Good proficiency in English
- Ability to work well in a team and enjoy working with colleagues
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
