PMO Document Controller
Join atNorth as a PMO Document Controller – own project documentation, streamline processes, and enable efficient, aligned project execution across our portfolio.
About the Role
We are looking for a PMO Document Controller to join our PMO (Project Management Office) team and take ownership of document management across atNorth’s development projects. In this role, you will ensure that project documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant with both internal standards and external requirements. Acting as the central point of contact, you will support Development, Operations, contractors, and other stakeholders by maintaining structures, resolving workflow bottlenecks, and promoting best practices in document management.
You will also be responsible for onboarding, training, and supporting teams in the use of project management software and collaboration platforms. By creating user guides, templates, and training sessions, you will enable consistency, efficiency, and alignment across all phases of our projects — from site selection to handover.
This role is central to efficient project execution, smooth transitions between phases, and ensuring that our teams have the right tools, knowledge, and support to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the central hub for all document control activities across atNorth’s project portfolio.
Own and manage atNorth’s ACC hub, ensuring it supports collaboration and efficient execution across Development.
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve document control systems, including version control, archiving, and distribution of documentation.
Provide templates, checklists, and structures to enable consistent document management across all projects.
Ensure compliance with internal standards, contractual requirements, and certifications.
Train and onboard teams (internal and external) in platform use, providing user guides, demos, and workshops.
Encourage adoption of tools and support platform-related questions or setup requests.
Support project managers, design managers, commissioning, procurement, and operations by configuring access and structures tailored to their needs.
Develop and maintain documentation schedules in alignment with project milestones.
Act as subject matter expert for project documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
Facilitate collaboration between atNorth teams and contractors, ensuring correct access and efficient document workflows.
About You
Experience in document control or project coordination, ideally within construction, engineering, or data center development.
Strong understanding of document management systems, processes, and best practices.
Skilled in using and managing project management platforms; experience with ACC or similar collaboration tools is an advantage.
Ability to establish structures, maintain standards, and ensure compliance across multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, onboard, and support diverse teams.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
Comfortable working with multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in a PMO or development/project delivery environment.
Technical knowledge of construction or engineering documentation.
Strong IT and digital collaboration skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus.
Additional Requirements
A structured and process-oriented approach.
Flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs.
Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous improvement.
