Sourcing Manager at atNorth
As atNorth continues to expand its Nordic footprint, we are strengthening our Group Procurement function and are looking for a Sourcing Manager to play a key role in this journey. In this position, you will act as a commercial backbone across countries and functions, translating sourcing strategies into the critical infrastructure that supports atNorth’s long-term growth.
You will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, leading end-to-end procurement initiatives, and securing the supplier partnerships and agreements that underpin our data center developments. The role is strategically important while remaining closely connected to operational execution.
The position can be based in Sweden, Finland, or Denmark and reports to the Director of Procurement.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies, and lead complex sourcing initiatives across the Nordics.
Analyze supplier markets to optimize the supply base in terms of cost, lead time, quality, resilience, and risk.
Secure long-term supply through structured tender processes and the establishment of framework agreements.
Support Supplier Managers in evaluating supplier performance and strengthening strategic supplier relationships.
Coordinate closely with Procurement Managers and Project Procurement Managers to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across Nordic operations.
Partner with the Procurement Excellence Manager to develop and implement robust processes, tools, and best practices.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with technical requirements, business needs, and sustainability objectives.
Support internal teams with procurement planning, documentation, reporting, and governance.
Your profile:
You are a senior procurement professional with solid experience from data center, construction, or infrastructure environments. You combine strong analytical capabilities with a pragmatic, service-oriented mindset and are comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain management within data center, construction, or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of Nordic construction standards and legal frameworks; experience with FIDIC and RIBA is an advantage
Solid understanding of data center technologies, including reserve power and cooling infrastructure
Proven experience negotiating contracts with General Contractors and suppliers of OFCI equipment
Strong analytical skills with confidence in data-driven decision-making
Clear and effective communication skills, fluent in English; additional Nordic languages are an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and relevant project management tools
Successful background check required for all employees
