Public Affairs and Communications Manager at atNorth
We are looking for a Public Affairs & Communications Manager to support stakeholder engagement and policy awareness as we continue expanding our data center platform across the Nordics.
In this role, you will help monitor policy developments, support engagement with regulators and policymakers, and contribute to strengthening atNorth’s reputation and license to operate in key markets.
You will report to the Director of Public Affairs & Communications and work closely with the Senior Communications Manager, collaborating across teams to ensure coordinated stakeholder engagement and clear messaging.
As digital infrastructure becomes increasingly important for the energy transition and the digital economy, public affairs and stakeholder engagement play a critical role in enabling our growth. You can work from any of our Nordic locations, Stockholm being the preferred one.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor political and regulatory developments affecting the data center and digital infrastructure sector
Support engagement with municipalities, regulators, and policymakers
Assist in preparing policy briefings, consultation responses, and stakeholder materials
Help coordinate participation in industry forums and policy discussions
Support public affairs communications and thought leadership initiatives
Monitor emerging policy and reputational issues
Your profile:
5+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, policy analysis, or communications
Strong interest in public policy, infrastructure, energy, or technology
Ability to translate complex policy issues into clear and concise messaging
Experience engaging with public-sector stakeholders or industry associations
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to work across teams in an international company
Full professional proficiency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages
