PMO Document Controller

About the Role
We are looking for a PMO Document Controller to join our Project Management Office (PMO) and provide dedicated support to project teams across atNorth. In this role, you will focus on document control activities within each project, ensuring that documentation is accurate, well-structured, and compliant with internal standards and external requirements.
You will assist with implementing and maintaining document control procedures, including naming conventions, version control, and workflows. Acting as a key support resource, you will help project managers, design managers, and other stakeholders by setting up structures, resolving document-related issues, and promoting best practices.
This role is essential for maintaining consistency and efficiency across all phases of our projects—from early development through handover—by ensuring teams have the right tools, templates, and guidance for effective document management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams with all document control activities across atNorth’s development projects.
- Maintain and manage atNorth’s ACC hub to enable collaboration and efficient document workflows.
- Implement and enforce document control standards, including version control, archiving, and distribution.
- Provide templates, naming conventions, and checklists to ensure consistency across projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, contractual requirements, and certifications.
- Assist with onboarding and training teams (internal and external) on document control processes and platform use.
- Respond to platform-related questions and configure access and structures tailored to project needs.
- Maintain documentation schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Act as a resource for document control best practices and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between atNorth teams and contractors by ensuring correct access and efficient workflows.
About You
- Experience in document control or project administration, ideally within construction, engineering, or data center development.
- Strong understanding of document management systems and best practices.
- Familiarity with project collaboration platforms; experience with ACC or similar tools is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain standards and ensure compliance across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills for training and supporting diverse teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a PMO or project delivery environment.
- Technical knowledge of construction or engineering documentation.
- Strong IT and digital collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English; fluency in Finnish language is a huge plus.
