People & Culture Specialist at atNorth
As our company are growing, we are now looking for a P&C Specialist to join us and be the operational backbone of our P&C function.
This is an both an admin- and service-dominant role, that requires a high degree of precision, organizational skill, and a proactive attitude toward managing the essential documentation and data that keep our Nordic entities running smoothly.
Based in Denmark, you will act as the local expert in Danish employment law and administration while coordinating both local and regional workflows. This role demands a high sense of urgency and the ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
You will report to the People Operations & Tech Manager, based in Stockholm, and work closely with colleagues across all Nordic countries in a dynamic, international environment.
Key responsibilities:
Operational Execution & Administration
Oversee the daily administrative and operational work within the P&C group to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Execute and maintain core operational tasks including governance, process documentation, and global mobility frameworks with a high sense of urgency.
Manage the P&C inbox as the primary point of contact, ensuring that all employee and leader inquiries are handled with professionalism, speed, and accuracy.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying manual tasks that can be transitioned toward automated, end-to-end workflows.
Danish Local Expertise, Payroll & Compliance
Act as the local Danish expert in employment law, benefits structures, employer obligations, and regulatory compliance.
Contribute and act as the primary Danish point of contact for our external payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely employee data, supporting smooth Danish payroll coordination, answering general payroll-related questions, and collaborating closely with the Global Payroll Lead to secure efficient payroll processes.
Manage Danish-specific requirements including ferielov, pension schemes, insurance policies, and parental leave procedures.
Handle all necessary registrations and reporting to Danish authorities such as eIndkomst, ATP, FERIE, and barsel.dk.
Employee Lifecycle & Data Management
Draft employee agreements, manage pre-boarding documentation, and act as the first point of contact for new hires.
Support global mobility processes by ensuring compliance with EU regulations and Nordic labor laws.
Maintain and update the employee handbook in Confluence and ensure all employee files are stored securely and accurately.
Serve as an administrator for the HRM system, maintaining data integrity and generating necessary P&C KPIs and statistics.
Your profile:
To succeed in this role, you should be a highly structured, solution-oriented individual who thrives in a role where giving excellent service key, and you love being in the center of all kinds of administrative tasks and enjoys bringing clarity to complex operational challenges.
You have at least 7+ years of experience in P&C/HR operations, preferably within an international or Nordic-wide context.
Deep knowledge of Danish labor legislation, personnel administration, and HR systems is essential.
Experience working with outsourced payroll processes and external payroll vendors.
Experience with global mobility, visa applications, and the Øresund agreement is considered a strong advantage.
You are comfortable taking full ownership of administrative processes and can manage multiple priorities with a high sense of urgency.
You have a high degree of digital fluency and a passion for using technology to reduce manual administrative burdens.
You are fluent in English and Danish (both written and spoken).
You handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and have a keen eye for detail.
