We are seeking an experienced Nordic Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to take a leading role in shaping and safeguarding electrical systems operations across our data center sites in the Nordic region.
In this role, you will act as the go‑to expert for electrical infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant operation of our facilities. You will work across sites and disciplines, supporting everything from maintenance and troubleshooting to design reviews, commissioning, audits, and team capability development. By combining hands‑on expertise with strategic oversight, you’ll help ensure strong alignment between Design, Development, and Operations — and continuous improvement across the region.
The role offers a balance of on‑site engagement and remote expert work, including documentation, reviews, and advisory support, making it both operationally impactful and strategically influential.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the Nordic electrical subject matter expert for data center operations, ensuring alignment with atNorth standards and industry best practices
Oversee and support maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of electrical systems, including LV and MV distribution, protection and control systems, UPS, batteries, and generators
Support design reviews, commissioning activities, and project audits to ensure operational readiness and long‑term reliability
Collaborate closely with Design and Development teams to ensure smooth handover of new or upgraded infrastructure to Operations
Drive training, knowledge sharing, and capability development across operational teams to improve consistency and efficiency
Ensure electrical systems meet all safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements across Nordic sites
Contribute to documentation, procedures, and standards to support scalable and repeatable operations
Participate in site visits as required while handling reviews, audits, and documentation remotely where appropriate
Your profile:
Proven expertise in Low and Medium Voltage power distribution, UPS, and generator systems.
Broad experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and electrical safety programs.
Strong educational background in electrical engineering.
S1 qualification.
Ideally working experience in the data center field.
A proactive approach to team training, quality assurance, and process standardization.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems to ensure cohesive infrastructure management.
Willingness to travel frequently across the Nordic region.
Fluent English language, written and spoken.
This is a permanent role, and candidates must be eligible to work in Finland as well as be located within commuting distance from our Finnish sites. Background check is conducted for all our employees.
