Finance Business Partner at atNorth
At atNorth, we are scaling rapidly, and with that comes an increasing need for strong financial insight, structure, and forward-looking decision support. We are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to take on a central role within Group Finance—someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, financial modelling, and business insight.
This is not a traditional business partnering role tied to a single function. Instead, you will operate at Group level, shaping the financial foundation that supports key decisions across the company. You will be responsible for translating complex operational and macroeconomic drivers into clear, robust financial plans and models, enabling better and more informed decisions at senior level.
Key responsibilities:
· Strategic planning & financial modelling
· Performance insight & decision support
· Financing & strategic support
· Business partnering (Finance-focused)
· Data, systems & processes
A key part of the role is ownership of our long-term financial model, ensuring that it continuously reflects our strategic direction, growth ambitions, and capital allocation priorities. You will play a pivotal role in evaluating strategic initiatives, assessing investment opportunities, and providing clarity on trade-offs, risks, and financial outcomes.
You will work closely with stakeholders across Finance, including Funding and Treasury, supporting financing processes and delivering high-quality scenarios and analyses into discussions with executives, owners, and lenders. At the same time, you will help strengthen how we connect our planning landscape, from long-term plans and rolling forecasts to liquidity forecasts and business cases, ensuring consistency, transparency, and quality across all financial views.
Beyond analysis, this role is about impact. You will contribute to building a stronger financial backbone by improving models, data quality, and processes, and by helping elevate how financial insights are used in decision-making across the organisation.
We are looking for:
Someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. You are self-driven, structured, and comfortable working independently, but you also understand that real impact comes from enabling others and strengthening the broader team. You bring a team-oriented, high-impact approach, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Your profile
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar
· 5–10 years’ experience in FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, Financial Advisory (Big 4), Investment Banking or Private Equity
· Strong experience with financial modelling, including long-term planning models
· Solid understanding of investment case analysis
· Experience translating complex data into clear decision support for senior stakeholders
· Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/EPM and BI tools
· Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
· Independent and self-driven, with a structured approach to problem solving
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
You are analytical, structured, and comfortable working with complex data and uncertain scenarios. At the same time, you are pragmatic and solution-oriented, with the ability to balance detail with a broader strategic perspective.
You are collaborative by nature, and you build strong relationships across functions, acting as a trusted partner rather than a gatekeeper. You take ownership, work independently, and navigate well in a dynamic and evolving environment. Equally important you bring a high-impact mindset focusing on contributing to the overall success of the team and organisation, sharing knowledge and helping elevate those around you.
