Team Development & Learning Partner at atNorth
Great teams don’t just happen. Someone has to notice when a team is stuck, ask the right questions and help everyone find a better way to work together. At atNorth, we want that person to be you. If you’re an experienced team developer who reads a room well and wants your work to matter, we’d like to hear from you.
We’re growing fast across five countries. New teams form, established teams take on new members, and colleagues in different countries and time zones depend on each other every day. That brings energy, and sometimes friction. As our Team Development & Learning Partner, you’ll help our teams get through both and come out stronger.
You’ll work closely with managers to understand what their teams need, then design and run the right interventions, from kickoff and reset workshops to conflict resolution and cross-country collaboration sessions. You’ll coach managers on team dynamics and difficult conversations, and you’ll turn what you learn from teams into practical learning content that helps the whole organization.
You’ll be part of our Leadership, Learning & Development team and work closely with your team, our P&C Managers and team leaders. Our team runs learning activities across the whole organization, so an interest in the broader Learning & Development field and a wish to deliver different kinds of learning is a plus.
Key responsibilities:
• Run team health diagnostics to identify development needs at team level
• Design and facilitate team kickoff and team reset workshops for new, growing and established teams to ensure collaboration, performance and satisfaction
• Facilitate conflict resolution sessions within and between teams
• In close collaboration with our Leadership Development Partner and P&C Managers, coach our leaders on team dynamics and difficult team conversations
• Design and run workshops that build collaboration across countries and time zones
• Support cross-functional teams in working together more effectively
• Support selected recruitments with team profiling, such as Insights Discovery, to find the right team fit
• Design and deliver team-focused learning content, such as team effectiveness, collaboration and feedback modules, together with the Learning & Development team
• Support with the design and delivery of learning content and concepts ad hoc
Your profile:
• You have at least 5-7 years work experience from a similar role
• You have a relevant degree in organizational psychology, HR or a related field, or equivalent experience
• You have solid experience in team coaching and team facilitation, ideally across multiple countries
• You’re a skilled mediator with strong conflict resolution skills, and you stay calm and constructive when things get difficult
• You read group dynamics well and adapt your approach in the moment
• You design and facilitate workshops that people remember and that lead to real change
• You understand instructional design and can turn team insights into practical learning content
• You have cross-cultural awareness and experience working with distributed teams; a team coaching certification (e.g. ICF Team Coaching or ORSC) or a team development tool certification (e.g. Insights Discovery or DISC) is a strong plus
• You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written
