Commercial Manager at atNorth
Are you a commercially driven professional with expertise in financial management, procurement, and contract negotiation?
atNorth is looking for a Commercial Manager to oversee and optimize the financial and contractual aspects of our development projects.
Based in our Stockholm office, you will ensure financial efficiency, cost control, and contractual compliance across our rapidly expanding infrastructure.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape commercial processes in a high-growth, international environment while working on innovative and sustainable development projects.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the commercial and financial management of data center infrastructure projects, including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial modelling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
Drive cost control and commercial performance by monitoring project costs, supplier agreements, payment applications, and financial risks.
Manage contract negotiations and commercial administration throughout the project lifecycle, including claims, variations, change orders, and contractual compliance.
Provide commercial input to investment cases and key project decisions, ensuring financial and commercial implications are clearly understood.
Partner closely with procurement, project management, and construction teams to ensure commercially sound decisions and effective project delivery.
Translate customer and project requirements into commercial and financial implications and support commercial negotiations with key stakeholders.
Provide strong commercial leadership and financial discipline to protect project value, optimize costs, and maximize profitability.
Contribute to the continued development of commercial processes, governance, and best practices as atNorth continues to grow.
Your profile:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in commercial management, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
Strong expertise in budget preparation, cost control, and procurement processes.
Proven track record in managing complex contracts, claims, and variations.
Analytical and meticulous mindset with an independent approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proactive, diplomatic style.
Resilience under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Passion for both high-level financial strategy and hands-on project execution.
