atNorth is expanding its operations in Akureyri, Iceland, and is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our team as a Cleaning Technician in our ISO-certified data center. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-tech, meticulously maintained environment with the leading data center provider in the Nordics.

About the Role
We are looking for a diligent Cleaning Technician to perform daily cleaning tasks within our sensitive and technical environment. atNorth operates under strict ISO standards, so the role requires a high level of care, precision, and commitment to maintaining world-class cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning of technical areas, including floors, surfaces, walls, and overhead spaces
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and supplies in line with facility protocols
- Record and report cleaning activities in accordance with internal quality systems
- Follow structured cleaning schedules and ISO-compliant procedures
- Collaborate with other staff and supervisors to ensure consistent cleanliness and operational safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience cleaning in sensitive environments (e.g., data centers, cleanrooms, laboratories) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clean criminal record is required
- English proficiency (working environment is English-speaking)
