Student Assistant: Sustainability & Regeneration at atNorth
Are you passionate about sustainability and regeneration, and eager to contribute to meaningful change? We are looking for a motivated student to join our Group Sustainability & Regeneration team in Skovlunde, Copenhagen.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of atNorth’s newly implemented Sustainability and Regeneration Strategy across our international operations.
You’ll be part of a dynamic, international environment built on flexibility, innovation, and inclusion, working alongside experts in decarbonization, human rights, and compliance.
Your work will contribute to high-impact projects including transition planning, Future-Fit Benchmark implementation, sustainability target setting, nature-based solutions, and EU Taxonomy alignment.
Depending on your experience, you will also support critical data analysis and emissions accounting within our Scope 1, 2, and 3 decarbonization roadmap.
This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week, with full flexibility to adapt to your academic commitments and exams.
Key responsibilities:
Work closely with the Group Sustainability team to support various international sustainability programmes.
Provide technical support using the Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
Assist with benchmarking, data collection, and analysis for priority sustainability topics across atNorth.
Support climate strategy implementation, decarbonization efforts, and emissions accounting across Scope 1, 2, and 3.
Assist with ESG communication, including the development of internal communications and stakeholder presentations.
Contribute to EU Taxonomy related activities and the implementation of the Future-Fit Business Benchmark.
Support the assessment of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) results and other quantitative sustainability metrics.
Provide ad hoc support for various sustainability and regeneration projects as they arise.
Your profile:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program within sustainability, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
Fluency in English with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in an international professional setting.
Strong IT proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel; an interest in quantitative analysis and data-driven problem solving.
Familiarity with sustainability standards and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, SBTi, ESRS, or the EU Taxonomy is highly beneficial.
A proactive and curious mindset with the motivation to apply your academic discipline to real-world regeneration topics.
Results-driven with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain a high attention to detail.
A collaborative spirit, comfortable working with colleagues across multiple locations and departments.
Basic understanding of LCA results or carbon accounting is considered an advantage.
