As Operations Engineer Team Lead, you will lead an Operations Engineer team and ensure that all physical, technical, and administrative tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with site standards. You will play a key role in maintaining high availability, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service across data center operations.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, support, and develop a team of Operations Engineers, providing clear direction and acting as the primary escalation point
Oversee day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including UPS, HVAC, cooling, and mechanical/electrical systems
Ensure uptime, performance, and resilience through preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and effective incident response
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality
Ensure accurate documentation and alignment with asset management and CMMS systems, internal procedures, and industry standards
Coordinate and supervise third‑party vendors and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to defined quality standards
Lead or participate in incident and emergency response activities in accordance with documented procedures
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure workplace standards meet or exceed regulatory and cleanliness requirements
Your profile:
Technical background in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Experience working in mission‑critical environments (e.g. data centers, critical facilities, power or cooling systems)
Proven experience with maintenance planning, CMMS systems, and incident management
Experience leading or coordinating technical teams, with a structured and hands‑on leadership approach
Strong understanding of critical infrastructure systems (UPS, HVAC, cooling, M&E)
High focus on safety, compliance, and operational discipline
Customer‑ and SLA‑oriented mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
Professional‑level English required; Finnish is an advantage
