About the Role:
We are now looking to hire an Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team at FIN02 in Espoo.
As the site electrical system technical expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and oversight of electrical systems within our data centers. Your expertise will span Low Voltage & Medium Voltage power distribution, UPS and battery systems, electrical protection and controls systems, and more.
This hands-on role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and equipment, and you will oversee everything from electrical maintenance and troubleshooting to project oversight and vendor management. You'll be a key technical resource, supporting both construction activities and operational excellence, while ensuring our electrical infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, safety and compliance.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will have a collaborative and communicative role, working closely with various teams, providing training, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our data centers. You’ll also be part of our Nordic network of SMEs.
About You:
You are a passionate electrical expert who thrives on solving complex problems and is driven by a deep love for your field. You’re comfortable collaborating with others, leading projects, and managing vendor relationships. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and excited about being the go-to person for all things electrical in a fast-paced data center environment.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Low Voltage & Medium Voltage power distribution, UPS, and battery systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical protection systems, applicable electrical codes, and standards.
- Experience with electrical safety programs and compliance with industry regulations.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, provide training, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Proven expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and quality assurance of electrical systems.
- Engineering degree within electrical engineerin
- Proficiency in both English and Finnish is essential for this role
Occasional travel required for training and project oversight.
